Moxy - Portsmouth

It was pretty good, but I don't think any of the dishes were very creative or special. Drinks were good. A lot of the food was basically dressed up diner food; tasty, but not very exciting. Drinks were great, service was great.

Very pleasant surprise! We were on an unexpected one day excursion to Portsmouth and we were looking for a place for dinner. Saw that this restaurant was award winning with great reviews, so decided to give it a try. Outstanding! One of the best meals that we've had in a long time! Dishes were original and absolutely delicious. Coupled with some great drinks, this place is a winner. And, to boot, prices were very reasonable! Highly recommend!

I live in Portsmouth and have always been told to check out Moxy but just haven't gotten over there until last night. Safe to say I'll be back there soon, very tasty tapas-style plates. The drinks were great as well. Service was great along with the very cool atmosphere in there. If you're in the area I'd recommend checking this place out.

This place is incredible. My lovely lady and I decided to celebrate New Years eve and our 1 year anniversary here! Best decision ever! It's all Tapas inspired fare. The food was mouthwatering, the menu was fun and so interesting to pick from! You'll end up choosing multiple dishes. The desserts and coffee served in its own personal sized french press were a perfect end to an amazing dinner. Our server Shannon was wonderful and super personable. She even abliged when asked to take our photo before we left. COVID19 has really hit the restaurant industry hard this year. Sadly Moxy is closing down after the 2nd of January until outdoor dining opens up come spring from what I understand. I really hope when they open back up that you all give them a chance! So worth it!

Every part of the scallop dish was extraordinary. Visually beautiful, and one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had any where in the world. Very effective mixology with drinks that are well constructed, balanced, and what so many places fail to achieve, fun to taste and experience. Can't wait to some day return the Portsmouth just so I can return to Moxy. Well done, folks!
