The Red Wagon - Poseyville

Just had her ham steak and Gravy! Awesome doesn't even cover it. Beautiful taste and portioning enough for two.

Fantastic!. My husband and I just stumbled across The Red Wagon on a trip through Indiana and it was fantastic! The place was so clean, bathrooms extremely clean, the decor was welcoming and the menu had a great variety. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent I had the blackened catfish which was moist, fresh and not over seasoned. The house salad that was an option for a side was wonderful everything a salad should have. My husband had the BBQ it was better than he had ever had before, great flavor without being drown in sauce. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. Portions were plenty (enough for me to sample his BBQ lol) and we had enough room left to share a desert. We opted for the bread pudding WOW is the best way to describe it. The bourbon butter sauce was perfect, just enough bourbon to hint the flavor and the pudding was just the right texture. It did have raisins just an fyi as some folks don't use raisins. The prices are very reasonable, including the drinks (4 beers) our check was under $40. This is a place is a gem! It is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere but if we ever pass through again, this is a definite destination! PS I travel over 50,000 a year for business, this was by far one of the top 5 restaurants for me.

Delicious. Our food was wonderful. I had the Red Wagon Steak sandwich. It was huge...enough for me to take half of it home for another meal. The steak was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful. The steak fries were ok...nothing special, but good nonetheless. My daughter loved her pasta with alfredo sauce. And the dessert...turtle cake with ice cream. If you get nothing else, please order this dessert. It is wonderful. The Red Wagon is our go-to spot for good food, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Sunday brunch here is extravagant. All of the food was EXCELLENT. Ignore the bad reviews.
