Írjon visszajelzéstWow is all I can say what a great brewery tour and history lesson. The beer was good all around. Glad I visited the Potosi brewery
What an amazing place, tour, and story! We literally spent half the day here (and upstairs in the museum) because it was so nice and fun. Staff was super friendly and funny and the beer and food were delicious.
What a fantastic gem tucked away in the middle of nowhere! While camping at the Grant River Army Corps Campground nearby, we decided to take a chance and visit Potosi. We had such a great time! The museum was incredibly well done, and you could easily spend hours exploring it. Plus, they have a brewery on-site with excellent beer tastings. The museum exhibits were truly fabulous.
On our last visit, I had their special mac and cheese dinner, which was outstanding! It came with bacon and grilled chicken, and it was simply delicious. We also always order the legendary beer cheese soup. I can't say enough about their beers—we absolutely love many of them. We often buy them at our local grocery store as well. We can’t get enough of good old Potosi and several of their other brews!
This is a charming place with an attractive interior and outdoor seating options. I would definitely like to return and explore the museum, but this review is just for the brewpub. Our server was attentive, although we did feel that our food took longer to arrive than we expected. The beer bread and spinach dip appetizer was the highlight of our meal, and I highly recommend it. The Cave Ale Chicken was good as well. However, the cheese curds did not meet expectations—they were a bit too oily compared to other places. If you visit, consider taking a pleasant stroll around the area; it’s quite picturesque!
