Pie Face - Potts Point

Located in a prime location across from the Holiday Inn Potts Point, this restaurant offers a delicious and fresh sausage roll.

The service at this restaurant was lacking, as the two team members seemed more interested in watching Mardi Gras goers and chatting with each other. While not rude, they were not very attentive or friendly. The pies were served without containers, making it difficult to eat them conveniently. The beef pie I ordered was just okay - the meat resembled ground beef rather than chunky beef and some pieces were chewy. The flavor was average, lacking in variety and distinct ingredients. The crust was also okay, but hard to tear or cut, resulting in large chunks when trying to remove pieces. Overall, I probably would not return to this restaurant.

Across from my hotel, figure would try it out. Quick bite to eat if you’re feeling peckish. They have mini pies as well.

Surprisingly tasty meat pies that satiated mid-morning hunger after a long flight. The lamb and rosemary and steak and bacon were faves in our group. Of course the silly faces on the pies were needed humor for our tired crew, too. Although we were not impressed by the bland peas and mash, Pie Face is about the pie and is a quick grab-and-go chain. The yummy pies satiated and satisfied and made us wish we had one back home.

This popular food outlet is situated strategically in the Darlingshurst Road area of Kings Cross, and offers all kinds of fast food apart from just pies, which are exdellent anyway!
