I only gave this 4 stars because they are not exclusively vegan and one of our homemade cake slices (hopefully mistakenly) had a non vegan label although the person working there said it was vegan!! We had wraps, chips, “soda” AND dessert and even though we ate in our car it felt like a picnic!!!

One of my favorite stores. Always have prepared vegan sandwiches and wraps, as well as pastas, salads, and slices of cake! They have a big selection of baked vegan cookies, scones and sweet breads. Really great for bulk grains, legumes, nuts, and spices. It’s a lot less expensive than buying from Stop Shop. Things like nutritional yeast, vital wheat gluten, vegan cheeses are out of stock about half the time, which is disappointing, especially since this is the only store in the area that carries these items in the quantity and quality that I need. But prices are fair when we’re able to get them. The bakery is hit and miss since ownership changed over from Mother Earth’s, and lately desserts have been dense, bland, dry, and raw in the center, and gluten free items taste sandy. But most bakery items are vegan, and there’s always lots to choose from. They always have plenty of vegan deli items available!

I felt like a kid in a candy store at this place! There were so many options to choose from. The Curried Unchicken salad was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the chili. The cookies were delicious as well. They even allowed me to sample several items before making my choice. I highly recommend it—10/10! Updated from my previous review on 2023-09-28.
