Salsa Mexican Food - Poway

They used to be great, but now they've become really cheap with the salsa. The name is literally "salsa," yet we only receive four small, half-filled cups?

This restaurant has seen many changes in ownership over the years. The current owners uphold the tradition of serving delicious food with generous portions, just like the previous ones. They are also open to accommodating requests for modifications to their standard dishes.

Great food!! I have not been able to find decent non greasy tasty mexican food in poway. We have lots of places to eat but honestly none as good as this place. I have to say it is on the expensive side but well worth the price for the taste of the food. The hot sauces were tasty along with the carrots!! We had Rolled Tacos, Rice, Beans and Carne Asada burrito. Everything was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this place.

As a retired member of the Armed Forces and a new resident of California, I frequently visited this restaurant, particularly for their AMAZING Mini Tacos! The Adobada and Pollo Asado are among the best I've ever tasted! I used to call in to compliment the cook (Danny) after devouring two of each. Tonight, the tacos were especially outstanding because he cooked the pork and chicken to a beautiful golden brown and red, paired with grilled onions and fresh cilantro! So delicious! I even mentioned it to a roommate in a nearby community! Please do them a favor and support Salsa Mexican Food in Poway, California! Danny truly has a knack for culinary excellence! I plan to go back tomorrow and Sunday! These tacos are so good, you won't want to miss out! Seriously, don’t wait—go try them NOW! That’s an order!

They've come since they opened up. The mini-tacos of the road are the top 3 in the area Poway, RB and RP. I'm from LA, where we have King Taco and amazing hole in the walltaco shops and street vendors, and all San Diego Taco sites are evil. Carnitas and Carne Asada street tacos are worth a trip. The staff knows my family and we come at least once a week. Very friendly real people.
