Írjon visszajelzéstI was really happy to discover this restaurant. There was a wide selection of rarebit options (although I chose the classic) which was really delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken but we enjoyed a nice pot of tea. The building was lovely and the staff were excellent.
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant with a great selection of Welsh rarebits. I ordered the chorizo rarebit, while my wife had one with a stout base. My son enjoyed a Korean inspired rarebit with sriracha and kimchi, and my daughter had a standard one. The staff was friendly and accommodating to my children's dairy and gluten allergies. It can get busy, so I recommend making a reservation. (And the carrot cake was amazing too!)
Located near Brecon, this restaurant is housed in a quaint former school building. The menu offers a few options, including unique variations of Welsh Rarebit that go beyond the traditional cheese on toast. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is a great selection of Welsh products available for purchase. A visit to this restaurant is highly recommended.
It wasn’t very welcoming when we arrived. The staff member was rather rude and abrupt when we had difficulty getting through the entrance. “Well everybody else didn’t have a problem with the door” was not the sort of attitude we wanted to be welcomed with. We had the Rare Rabbit but it was overpriced for what it was. The welcome of staff member was a put off. Not going to be returning any time soon!
Great smell of rarebit as you enter. Parking available on the road. Staff were very informative and interactive. It has an art gallery area and plenty of welsh cards, books and crafts of real quality. It uses recycled wood pellets for heating. The rarebit menu was diverse and they were delicious. Quite a few local interest booklets laid out for visitors. Very fresh and bright decor.
