Mad Mex - Fresh Mexican Grill - Prahran

I have been here a few times. The restaurant is usually pretty quiet, but I think it's because of the quick service. You don't have to wait a long time to get your order. They have pretty good tacos and burritos. The food is affordable, but not in a bad way - it's good value for money. I think I'm going to go get a burrito now, actually.

I have to admit I am a little addicted to these guys for a quick lunchtime fix. Their Burritos and naked Burritos are both great. I am completely addicted to their beef Burrito. This place is like your Mexican Subway fast food. Not your high end Mexican restaurant, I wouldn't go here for a night out, however they are perfect for a quick lunchtime Mexican fix.

I do not usually get enthused about fast food, but Mad Mex was different. My Naked Vegie Burrito was good. It had brown rice and black beans and was topped with fresh salad and guacamole. I asked for the hot salsa and I was surprised to find it really was HOT. The Pacifico Mexican beer went well with it, but there should have been more of them. I agree with the other writer who said that once cold salad hit the warm rice and beans it became cool overall, but my salsa made up for that
