Osteria Renata - Prahran

We had a wonderful experience with the staff, who were both professional and friendly. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet attentive. We will definitely be returning!

The pasta is definitely the highlight here. I tried the NYE set menu, and while the steak was a bit overcooked and not particularly impressive, the overall experience was affected by the heat inside the restaurant. It was so hot that we asked to be seated outside, even on a day when it was 37°C.

A wonderful place to lunch with family and friends. great eating, relaxed ambiente and friendly inconspicuous yet professional, efficient service. more restaurants should learn from osteria renata! easy on the pricier side, but they get good value for the quality of food and ingredients. the jamon with gnocco fritto and the quadratti, mushroom, porcini were excellent. this is a restaurant that understands the basis of hospitality, good eating and wine. long it can be. highly recommended.

Service was good as was as the ambience (although neither was outstanding). Flatbread and kingfish, Crudo were both quite delightful, and the pasta was very good. The garfish was nice, but nothing special, as was the tiramisu. Overall, I felt that the prices were quite high, for this particular level of cuisine, but on the whole, the food was quite respectable.

The restaurant, food and service perfectly me our expectations for a festive season catch up. The wait staff looked after us very well especially the Japanese waiter who was delightful. Recommend this venue to others to try for a special dining experience.
