Hy-vee Bakery - Prairie Village

Today, I needed 6 ounces of Napa cabbage, but all they had for sale was a large head. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff in the production area offered to help. Instead of wasting the entire cabbage, they cut the exact amount I needed for my recipe. While this might be their routine service, I wouldn’t have thought to ask for help and truly appreciated it. Thank you, Hy-Vee!

Today was the last straw. I would rather get a waxy colonoscopy with a cheese sorter than suffer from the colossal waste of time that is Hyvee Online-Aisles. In my two years as a customer, they never even got my order right. Frequently they invite me for items and forget to put them in my bags, which require me to go back to the store a few hours later. Articles they claim are not in stock are certainly in stock when I go back to the store. On the basis of these and the products I am given, I can only close the employees who do shopping, must be blind or useful. Today was an even worse experience it took 45 minutes to tell us that they placed our order incorrectly and they simply did not. I was stupid. Even after the long drive home, I cannot understand why it takes 45 minutes to find out that out. The level of stupidity and chaos that embodies this operation is absolutely amazing. If you're thinking about using online aisles, I'd encourage you to think new or at least mentally prepare for unavoidable torment and fear. Tl;dr: I could train blind dogs to make their work better than the employees here. Scholars should investigate this catastrophic failure.

I really like this Hy-Vee, as far as grocery stores go. They offer a great variety of foods, and I appreciate their selection of health food. The staff is friendly, and the store is always clean. I especially love the mobile ordering feature; it's incredibly convenient to just drive up, have them load my groceries into the car, and be on my way. This grocery store is my go-to!

No masks from the alleged health workers. Was in the pharmacy line w an immune compromised friend no one had behind the counter had a mask. Crazy responsive behavior that puts customers on real health risk.

Very clean, nice staff and easy to navigate the store. Giving 4 stars just because I have to check expiration on the prepped veggies and other dishes as they can be days expired. Other than that, it's my go to store! Also shout out to Adam at the Starbucks who is an absolute beast with getting orders complete!
