Írjon visszajelzéstGreat place for good Cajun cooking. They probably gave us the double Jambalaya we ordered because our son was with us. Friendly staff and good food. (I should have gotten the gumbo... My wife's gumbo was as good as what Mama does.
The "Feeds 2" box was more than enough for my partner and me, plus our toddler, and we had some leftovers. I called in my order from the parking lot, and it was ready within just three minutes after I arrived.
This restaurant is fantastic! We definitely need one in South Mississippi. I can only speak to the chicken and sausage jambalaya and the white beans, but what I had was amazing. The service was quick, the orders were filled promptly, and the jambalaya was hot and delicious. The chicken and sausage were seasoned perfectly.
If gumbo isn't your thing, they also offer large portions of jambalaya and pastalaya (which is made with spaghetti instead of rice), along with various weekday lunch specials—all of which are very budget-friendly. If you're using Google to find this place, make sure to select the exact location you want to visit, as menu specialties can vary by location. To make a fantastic seafood gumbo at home, you can buy large buckets of ingredients (available in multiple sizes) and simply sauté shrimp, crawfish, lump crab meat, okra, shrimp powder, and file powder. Voila! You have a delicious seafood gumbo! You might even consider adding fresh blue crabs or snow crabs for extra flavor. It's absolutely delicious, and no one will know you made it from scratch! And don’t forget to pick up the potato salad!
