Il Dek Italian Bistrot - PRATO

We were surprised delightfully so! by this restaurant! The seafood was impeccably fresh and expertly prepared with a light hand. Service was friendly and knowledgeable definitely recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and ambience of the restaurant. We ordered all seafood and the quality was fresh (though I am not sure about the lobster pasta). It was lovely to dine alfresco in the piazza. The pizza also looked great too. A few things that left a sour taste to the night. The music was too loud even though I loved the 80’s music, it’s also not a good look when the manager has a cigarette in his mouth serving and one pet hate of mine Do not rip your customers off and charge more than what the seafood actually weighed. The seafood is charged by weight. I work in the restaurant industry and even though it happens all the time, this is ‘theft’.

Having beggars walk through the restaurant then kick your chair while you are trying to eat somewhat spoiled the experience. The food was a little bland

Central restaurant overlooking the castle of Prato. Very nice environment. Well-prepared recipes and extensive wine paper. Friendly staff. Prices a little high, but acceptable.
