The Northeasternland, while under renovation, still provided a clean and quiet room that was accessible for our needs. The friendly staff was great with communicating and responding to requests. Thanks again to everyone who helped us on our journey.

This place was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating and polite. If I wanted to be that guy the carpets in the hallways leading to the rooms and the ones in the room are a bit outdated. Everything in my room was very clean though and I slept like a baby. They should upgrade their cable system for the Tvs to accommodate apps like Netflix and prime with guest logins. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.Food drinks: Rodney 's at 436 main st is a restaurant in the hotel and it is exceptional!

If you are looking for a middle range priced hotel, the Northeastland Hotel is going to be your best bet. Hotel prices at the time of my visiting ranged from $130 to about $300, the Northeastland was a compromise between these extremes.Other reviews spoke about how some of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke or may have needed an update, but the double queen room I rented was perfect for my needs. There was a bed to sleep in, a shower to wash off in, a fridge and microwave, a dining table, and plenty of space to get a morning stretch in.The hotel restaurant had great options, I'm sad I didn't stay additional nights because I would have liked to explore some more menu options. They had a good range of drinks available, too.Front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended a very nice bike path to run on that was close to the hotel.Parking was available at all times, but the elevator was not working during the time of my visit.One little detail that I found cute was the tape around the toilet that meant it had been cleaned and sealed to prevent usage until the customer arrived. Oh, and they still use keys, not keycards, for room access!Another note is the walkability of the area. The Northeastland is in the heart of the Presque Isle downtown. There are local businesses up and down Main Street that deserve your curious patronage. I recommend taking at least an afternoon to plan your shopping/perusal plan, and at least a solid morning to carry out your retail/restaurant agenda.Nearby activities: Close to riverside, colleges, movie theatre, coffeeshops, and more!

Front desk staff, extremely helpful. Do you want to use your room clean, cozy for a lot less than your chain hotels this is it.
