The Queen Victoria Inn - Priddy

We visited the restaurant on 16/11 for 'Pie Week' and we were extremely satisfied, as always. The service was excellent and the lovely log fire kept us warm. The pies we ordered, Steak and Stilton for my partner and Minted Lamb and Leek for me, were both delicious and filling. The price per person was between £10-20 and we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5. We recommend trying the Fish and Chips, Lasagne, Beef Ale and Mushroom Pie, Ploughman's, Priddy Ham Eggs Chips, and Steak and Ale Pie with Mushrooms.

We came in twice over our caravan weekend at the nearby site: At first glance it looks like the sort of local's pub where visitors won't be welcomed, but don't worry the welcome was excellent, as was the food and the atmosphere. We had a table right by one of the fires, and even though the pub was packed our food came quickly and was well made. If we are in the area we will definitely eat here again. This pub is fantastic. The average price per person is £20-£30. The food and service both score a perfect 5, while the atmosphere earns a 4. Recommended dishes include the Fish Pie with Garlic Bread and the Steak and Ale Pie with Mushrooms, both paired perfectly with a Butcombe Original. There is ample parking available.
