Meli Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in this part of the Croatian seaside. A long curve around turquise sea with beach covered by small white pebbles and sand in the sea. It takes a while to take a full-body swim though, so the bay is perfect for watersports with half of the body in the water. There's a taxi (40 HRK, about 6 EUR for round trip) that takes you to and from the beach by which you avoid about 30 mins walk — I recommend taking the taxi, at least for going back to your car. Top beach but at the toilet situation must be urgently worked.

Lovely pebbly beach that turns to sand once you enter the water. The entrance to the sea is very gradual so you can walk quite far off shore. The beach bar and straw parasols are a nice touch. To get to the beach, you take the car to the village Plat, then walk for around 20 minutes down a well-marked dirt road. There is also a van that can take you to the beach for 5 Euro. It is not very large so it might get crowded at peak times. Pets are very welcome at the beach!
