Yummy, interesting take on Asian food. The portions are just right, ingredients seem fresh and the chef seems to enjoy cooking and plating for you.

I am the proverbial carnivore, I 'm very picky about what vegetables I eat, and they are never the star of the show. I ordered the beef teriyaki bowl over brown rice, and it came with a melody of broccoli, snap peas, and zucchini. The beef teriyaki was very good, although I 'll admit my wife 's chicken teriyaki was exceptional, but for me the standout was the broccoli. That is by far the best broccoli I 've ever had. When I got home, it was the broccoli I was craving, not the beef which is quite absurd for me. It had really nice salty buttery flavor and I 'd actually consider ordering an entire bowl of that next time. I would highly recommend the restaurant and the broccoli. The fried pork dumplings were also very good, they didn 't taste like other pork dumplings I 've had at other restaurants, but they were extremely fresh and well prepared.

Very popular. Food is excellent. Service is adequate, not great. Get there early for lunch.

We’ve been to Roots many times and have had everything from cooked bowls to sushi, sashimi and rolls. The sushi is fresh and melts in your mouth.The pork buns are delicious as are the rock shrimp and just about everything else we’ve tried! We have never had a meal we haven’t loved.
