It was my first visit to boardey and the catering options seemed surprisingly limited.

Totally disappointed, I was hoping for cocktails and a happy hour dinner only in the bar, no wonder the restaurant is almost empty.

A rustic style restaurant with Pizzeria attached on Avenue Napoleon, the main street in Propriano. If you want a relaxed approach and local atmosphere, this is for you. There is a genuine warm welcome from Le Patron and his staff and the food is absolutely delicious. There are fresh made Pizzas, pastas and tourist menus for £15/£16 Euros per person as well as an extensive A La Carte menu including, fish and meat. Wild boar and veal are specialities and offered on the tourist menu, beef and steaks are also offered and beautifully cooked to your preference. Memorable Corsican food, simply served, flavoured with local herbs. A place to return to on future visits.

Very local atmosphere, good food, prices ok; and really really, if you get the chance, have a chat with Jimmy! He's the owner, and knows the all history of the place, and will surely be glad to tell you about it.
