Mac's Fish House Provincetown

Had a great time here with the family on the other day. Thursday evenings they have everything you can eat fish and chips for which we have come. You really hit the sign! The fish was cooked so well and they even had malt vinegar with them! The decor is beautiful inside, the stands are great if you can sniff one and it is easy to make a reservation on their website. The appetizers and main courses quickly came out of the kitchen and we all had a great time.

Excellent food and roasted food is gluten-free!!! I thought the fried scallops were my favorite. As a celiac, I appreciate places I can eat without worry. The well-fled oysters were fresh and tasty and a great price during the happy hour! $ from 3-5 each. Our server was so friendly and helpful! We had a great time to eat on the terrace and even came back the next day for a gluten-free lobster roll.

Probably the best dinner we had all vacation in Ptown (DO NOT go to Fanizzi's). I took a star off because the steamer clams were 90% crunchy sand but the swordfish steak, cocktails, and Halibut were all fantastic. Good service and good atmosphere

Mac’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Provincetown. With serious menu diversity, we started off with dry rubbed BBQ ribs, hand cut garlic fries and shishito peppers which were all absolutely scrumptious then we dove into the sushi before I remembered to take a picture. High quality and crafty, Mac’s sushi is superior and among the best I’ve ever had. Lastly, we gave it our best shot to make a solid dent in our delicious dinners: seared Ahi Tuna dinner and a simple broiled Scottish salmon dinner. With a number of food allergies, my waiter and the chefs were graciously accommodating. I would eat at Mac’s every day if I could!!

The oysters were great. The clam chowder was a a little lack luster. The local mussels were really big and steamed to perfection. The seared halibut was much smaller than expected for the price but very delicious. The halibut was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with lobster meat in em but the taters were just a little off . Not bad, not good, just off, dunno... the lobster meat in those taters was very tasty. And thay pour a pretty decent drink.
