Well, I had one of the best travel experience for a long time and can highly recommend that place. Super fresh seafood and just ask the staff for recommendation. They ensure you will have a fantastic dinner. Fantastic people. Thank you team! You made my day.
Extremely disappointing experience. We 've stopped by for some food but were informed they don 't serve any since the season hasn 't started yet. Because of that we did not see the food menu then, but the waiter offered to put together a little cheese, prosciutto and sardines board for us to have with some bread. We were quite hungry so we happily agreed. Everything was fine, until the bill arrived. They have charged us 35€ for that little board that contained 4 sardines, some slices of cheese and prosciutto and some badly tasting olives! We ended up speaking to the manager, and she said the prices are due to inflation and maybe where we come from the prices didn 't increase but here they did . I found this comment to be quite condescending. I tried arguing that we 've been to other restaurants in Budva and nowhere food was this expensive. Especially considering that nothing of what we had required cooking or elaborate preparation. The manager said it 's a shame that the waiter did not show us the menu cause the prices were all listed there (to be fair I think only the price of sardines was on the menu, I have not seen the rest), and we should just accept it. I think this is the way they rip tourists off, claiming the don 't serve food (interesting though the last review posted here was three weeks ago and it mentions the food) then offering to put some bits and bobs together especially for you and then charge you a small fortune for it. If anyone challenges it, they blame it on inflation. So far my experience with hospitality in Montenegro has been very pleasant, but this experience made me very weary and suspicious of possible scams. Needless to say I would not recommend going here. I 've noticed that whoever replies to the bad reviews posted here has a tendency to claim they don 't come from true guests of their business, so I am attaching a photo of my receipt.
