Írjon visszajelzéstThe restaurant is decent if you happen to be nearby, but may not be worth going out of your way for. There are better vegan options in Kuala Lumpur in my opinion. We tried a variety of dishes, including wanton mee (a bit salty but good, with tasty dumplings in soup), basil hericium mushrooms (good), sweet and sour 'steak' (tasty but with soggy batter around the mock meat), Vietnamese rolls (average), and satay (made with hericium mushrooms and delicious sauce). Unfortunately, they were out of roti canai and spinach dish on our visit. The service was alright, but the dining area was cluttered with toys and felt more like a living room. The prices were a bit high considering the casual atmosphere of the restaurant.
This restaurant is one of my top two favorites in Kuala Lumpur, the other being Annalakshmi (not including the Buddhist temple, which is another great option). They offer a variety of standard Chinese-Vietnamese dishes, comfort food like country fried steak and french fries, and Malaysian dishes such as asam laksa, all of which are excellent. They also have several vegan dessert options, including vegan ice cream. If you still have room after dining here, you can head to the 101 Mall (also known as IOI Mall) nearby for some Q bean soft serve. The only downside is that we didn't eat here more often in KL because we didn't have a car, and it takes about an hour on the bus to get here from KL Central (not including wait time).
The restaurant was average overall, with some dishes being good while others were just okay. The wonton mee and dumplings in soup were tasty but slightly salty, while the basil mushroom dish was good. The sweet and sour steak had a nice flavor but the coating around the mock meat was soggy. The Vietnamese roll was decent but nothing special, and the satay made with mushroom was the highlight of our meal. We also ordered roti canai and a spinach dish, but they were both unavailable (except for salad). The service was adequate, but the dining area was cluttered with toys and miscellaneous items, giving it a cozy yet chaotic vibe. The prices were a bit high considering the overall dining experience. Overall, not a bad place to eat but there are better vegan options in Kuala Lumpur in our opinion.
I tried the loving hut restaurant in puchong for the first time last week. I had the willon mee and nasi lemak. the wanton mee and the mock meat in the nasi lemak tasted very similar to their non-vegan versions. whole menu is 100% vegan. the prices are also appropriate. would definitely recommend this place!
This is one of my 2 favorite restaurants in kl (the other is annalakshmi and not the Buddhist temple-a different great option) they have standard Chinese Vietnamese dishes as well as comfort food (land fried steak, fön, etc). and Malaysian dishes (asam laksa) all excellent. several vegan desert options including vegan ices. if they still have space after eating here, they are not too far from the 101 mall (also called ioi mall) to some Q-bean soft servier. just the reason we haven't eaten here more often in kl is that we don't have a car and it takes a solid hour on the bus to here from KL-central (without the time they wait for the bus).
