East - Pudsey

What a fantastic restaurant! The food is amazing, and I really enjoy the bars upstairs. Every visit feels like a wonderful night out for everyone!

I chose this restaurant because my step-daughters were visiting from Southampton for the weekend, and they wanted to eat here since they had enjoyed their previous meal during their last visit to Pudsey. While the food was excellent, the experience was unfortunately marred by excessive noise from a large party at the next table. We requested a quieter table but were informed that the restaurant was fully booked. Additionally, a pianist was playing, which would have been a lovely touch under normal circumstances, but the loud commotion from the group made it impossible to enjoy. There was no effort from the staff or management to address the disruptive noise for the sake of other diners, which I found unacceptable. The atmosphere felt more like a school cafeteria, and we were glad to finish our meal and leave. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to East Restaurant, as there are many other excellent dining options in the Pudsey/Bradford area.

The piano player was talented, but unfortunately, we could barely hear him. A group of 14 people was singing along loudly, and no one from the management asked them to quiet down. Because of that, we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. This really ruined our evening, and we ended up leaving the restaurant as quickly as we could. Overall, our first experience was disappointing, and we received no apology from the management.

45 mins waiting for booked table . 30 mins waiting at bar and paying for drinks due to poor staff . Food was about 45 mins . Not everything turned up . Drinks didn't come properly . Staff arguing . Staff wearing in appropriate short skirts ..... won't be visiting again . Shame the food was nice .

We normally visit East most Saturdays and never have any issues, always made to feel welcome and service and food outstanding however Saturday 20th Feb we ordered our popadoms which got put on table to side of us where a gentleman picked one up when the waiter realised and took the popadoms off the table and the guy and placed them on our table our starters arrived which where nice and then we waited 45 mins for our main which wasn't upto usual standard there was food down the side of my husbands dish which looks like it had been spilt over and just wasn't nice it was like eating lemons not madras. Our table was cleared and told we our hot wipes where coming which we never received then a further 30mins later we had to go to to the till and pay our bill, again not out usual service but still disheartening
