Small restaurant with typical Costa Rican and Caribean food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee all day with very competitive prices. The food was fresh and delicious. This is a family house belonging to locals.

Typical breaky for a decent price (starts from 2k colones) and really nice stuff.

This soda moved their location recently (one block toward the mountains from Hot Rocks, behind Hotel Puerto Viejo on corner). Quaint, off the very busy main road and opens early. Typical Tico food with some exceptions, but all good, and great coffee. The owners and staff are pleasant and kind, the service is good, no long waits for food, the restaurant is clean and the prices are VERY affordable. Highly recommended!
