La Playa - Puerto Vallarta

The Bartender was very sweet, and very supportive of the LGBTQ community in the area. When I was visiting, an expat was telling the bartender how much he disliked all the gay couples around the area and wish they would leave. She proceeded to tell him that Puerto Vallarta is welcome to all and that If he didn't like that, he was politely asked to leave the bar. He apologized and finished his drink lol ! Great simple drinks, and also some very great elaborate high end drinks. Amazing prices, and fresh ingredients. Def stop by if you can !!!

Located on busy little street, this small bar offers great drinks with natural fruits and flavors. The bartenders are great girls who put love into their cocktails. Check out their little menu for their signature drinks, they are delicious. Sit back and enjoy your drink while you watch the tourists and locals as they enjoy the night.

I made it a point to go here everyday that we were in PV. The drinks are amazing but the staff make this place. Linda, Benny, Eduardo, Zidea, Paola and Lucy made time for us, made us welcome and remembered us every time. This bar is special. Please go and tip well! Highly recommend the Dracula.

We absolutely LOVED Bar La Playa. We went on a Monday evening at 8 a.m. before our 9:45 dinner reservation and wished we could have stayed all night. It was pretty busy, but we could get two places right at the bar. The drinks were incredible. Everyone was handmade with so much detail is amazing. I had the Mexican Mule and watched the bartender fresh ginger right in front of me for my drink. The bartenders were absolutely the best, so beautiful and definitely the most important contribution to the easy to go, fun atmosphere. Would return to a heartbeat, definitely one of our favorite places we visited in PV. If you try to sit at the bar, you can watch as they make the drinks!
