Chez Sylvie - Pujols

We arrived at Chez Sylvie at 12:45 on a Wednesday in August and were surprise to see how busy the restaurant was. There wasn't enough room to sit out party of 6 outside so we sat inside which was also fairly busy. Menu du jour was €14 for three courses; good value for money and very enjoyable. The foie gras was delicious, confit du canard was very good, and the goats' cheese salad was very tasty. One thing I did find be odd was that the sardine dish was basically a choice of different tins of sardines. They were served in the chosen tin which was taken off once the plate was put down. The cafe gourmand is well worth a try and good value for money. Toilets were clean but in the passage to the toilets the desserts were laid out uncovered on a table. No baby changing facilities but the friendly staff welcomed our children.

Book a table on the terrace and enjoy a lazy lunchtime in Aquitaine! This relaxed restaurant continues to be THE PLACE where locals and visitors return for their special lunches. The value is exceptional, and the advice is to go for the daily "special".

Bonne endroit sur la place du village , terrace par beau temps.Dejeuner a prix fixe raisonable et copieux ou carte.Bon service et patron sympa.Bonne cuisine a chaque fois !( 10 visites en 5 semaines!)

This was the nearest café to our Gite - and we had lunch there a couple of times. Typical French lunch menu, well cooked, well presented, and very friendly staff.
