Cafe Colibri - Puntarenas

Great food and drinks and lots of beautiful hummingbirds.

They have vegan options, not labeled but they have a couple of them: potato pocket, passion fruit bread and sometimes chocolate cake. They also have soy/almond milk for smoothies and coffees. Very good quality, really nice staff and cozy place. Cute hummingbirds but be careful with the coaties stealing your food outside (they tell you beforehand tho!

I just went there to see the Colibri fly around (the café was closed after our tour in the forest), and it was amazing!!! Great opportunity to see these beautiful birds, especially if you don't find them easily in your home country

This Cafe Colibri was a jewel of a fund on a long, wounded, pot-holed filled road, but wow was worth it. No entrance fee in contrast to the park directly next door. The coffee and curio shop was great, but I'm sure everyone goes there to see the hummingbirds. There are many to see pictures and video. We spent the whole afternoon admiring these wonderful birds.

Delicious hot chocolate. Cinnamon roll is super delicious. Priceless “amazing” Colibris fly around the square. This is a great environment to take care of them and offer the opportunity to be in touch with nature.
