Paranga - Qormi

Great location with fantastic views! But: We were waiting for the dinner 1,5 hours. The foods correct but nothing special. Not balance between the quality and price. 175 euros for 4 person with main course and a few drinks without starters and without desserts.

Yesterday we went to dinner with my friend to this restaurant. We were waiting to be sited for around 45 min, ok it was our fault that we didn’t book the table in advance. After we were finally offered a table we were waiting for our food another 40 min. I ordered sea food risotto. It was not tasty, plane and reminded me a rice porridge with a bit or tiny prawns inside. I ate Just prawns and sent that rice porridge back to chief. I asked to waitress to inform the chief that it was not tasty. I didn’t get any response from the chief or from the restaurant. Pls don’t order risotto there. And if I would be a restaurant I would offer me something instead or would put that risotto in the bill. Disappointed with the restaurant.

The wait staff was friendly. I had a great view of the water. Food came out pretty quickly.

The food and service were both excellent as the wine was the white Sancerre) definitely book in advance, as it can be a bit of delay, but it was worth it. We had cooked the fresh seabread in onions garlic and tomatoes, excellent and very tasty and the lobster pasta as the main, which was also wonderful and cooked for perfection. To begin we had to see the Aubergine Wars and the raw salmon, prawn and caviar pictures) it was excellent!

Nice setting good food and a very good service very friendly makes this place a must to go.
