Turquoise Turkish restaurant

We have eaten a lot of pide, even in Turkey, so when I say that Turquoise Turkish Restaurant serves some of the best pide I've ever had, it's a big compliment from a foodie. It definitely ranks top 3 for us. Their Turkish bread is also the best I've had in Australia, with generous sizes and delicious flavors. Their sucuk is of good quality and the service is friendly. The mixed platter was also delicious, especially the juicy grilled chicken. If you try calling and hear an answering machine message saying they're closed, their phone line is likely just busy. They have not yet been able to update their voice message system, so try calling again in a few minutes or order online. The only thing I wish they would do is to offer the option to add egg to the pide, which would take the flavor to another level. I give it a 10/10 and look forward to ordering again soon.

This restaurant is amazing! I especially enjoy the zucchini balls and all the dishes on the menu. I highly recommend going there for their fresh pide and more. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be returning.

This not just the best Turkish in Canberra/Queanbeyan, it's better than most upmarket restaurants in Istanbul. We've been eating there for over ten years. It's always fresh, unfussy, always rich in subtle tastes; Meritan and the staff are always at the top of their game and they make the best hummus ever in the whole wide world!
