Mikes - Québec

Far from me to denigrate this restaurant that is usually not so much worse. However, the poutine, in the dinner menu, is very ordinary not to say missed. pale fries in a sauce, I'd rather say a broth, which makes the broth stay in your plate and don't stick to your fries. The cheese of a more than usual taste has nothing to compare with the real crounche cheese. I've even warned the waitress to tell the cook, hoping for an improvement. So, can you not recommend it if you don't want to be disappointed like my friend and I.

We finish the food well hot and very good prices! the attendants are patients and the place is clean!

It is surprising to see how different mikes differ from one to another. The one in the hamel and duplessis corner doesn't break anything. the decor is more than usual with its black suspended ceiling. Moreover, the service is just as ordinary. Last time, we were seven to eat; the last three received their dish almost 15 minutes after the first four. Finally, the seven-inch submarines are probably the least garnished with all the mikes I visited. Anyway, it was my last visit there.

We heard good things about Mikes so we decided to try it out. Well it was disappointing. . It took forever to get our food. With young kids waiting that long was a challengeWhen we did get our food my wife's poutine was cold. The waitress forgot our kid's dessert but we couldn't be bothered to ask at our kids were done. Overall the food was ok (except poutine, service brutally slow so the experience was disappointing.

The room, very large, is nice, suitable for families and groups also numerous, the service is discreet. the quality of food instead leaves a little to desire especially if related to the cost; the mix of appetizers is quite tasteless, caesar salad tastes only because of dressing, sweets are unbearably sweetened.
