Írjon visszajelzéstWe booked this due to some reviews I read about the views from the restaurant, thought it would be fun to be served high tea to my family like royalty. A complete waste of money! We had a table down inside that felt more like a wine bar than a place where you would have high tea. The window tables that were up a few steps and behind the wall separation did seem to be lovely, high backed chairs, beautiful view, etc. But this is not what we got. A few pieces of sandwich each, lukewarm tea, very occasional visits from the server didn't feel like it was worth $196 for four people plus tip. The dessert table had some nice desserts, but definitely didn't make up for the disappointment of this place! We waited forever at the end to have the server come by to ask him for the bill.Never again and I would not recommend this to others.
If I could give this place 0 stars or negative stars I would! My mom had been here for high tea years ago. She was really excited to take all 5 of us out for high tea. I have been to high tea in a lot of different places and this was the most pathetic excuse for tea I have ever seen! . My mom was so upset that my husband, son, and nieces first high tea experience was this horrible! Everything was awful! I don't even know where to begin. They brought stale sandwiches out prior to even taking our tea order. The sandwiches were half the size of normal tea sandwiches plus, my husband and I were missing 2 of the 10 that we were supposed to have. The scones were better and at least came out fresh and warm. That being said, they still had not taken our tea order! If we were going to eat the scones fresh, it meant eating them without the tea! This was beyond absurd! We began eating the scones looking for our non existent wait staff to order our tea. Tea should seep for awhile to maximize the flavor, we were now almost done eating without even ordering our tea. Neither my mother nor I have ever experienced high tea this badly done. It is unheard of to wait to take your tea order until after you have eaten! They take your drink order first in every resteraunt! This is called TEA! It seems obvious as to what you would do first. It's not complicated, so where the hell was the tea? After we had finished our stale sandwiches they did finally come for our tea order. I am not kidding we had finished the stale sandwiches and scones prior to the tea being ordered! Fine! We will wait and have tea with the desert, which is a help yourself table. At this point we have looked over the deserts and at least they looked fresh. The tea arrives and my mom and I look on in shock! TEA BAGS! Seriously tea bags!? $50 a person for a stale sandwich, tea made from a tea bags and a few cupcakes from a buffet table!? My mom wanted us to have this incredible experience. We were all dressed up for what was supposed to be a classy elegant afternoon instead it was a disappointment and a total rip off! They obviously use their name and their view, that you can only get if your 4 or less people, as an excuse to rip people off! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, NOT FOR TEA, NOT FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER, A DRINK OR EVEN A GLASS OF WATER! They are a bunch of thieves! DO NOT GO HERE!
Excellent food with somewhat limited selection. Good service and super views of the river and surroundings. Elegant Old World classic hotel dining. Beautiful somewhat unique bar area.
We stopped here after cross country skiing and enjoyed lovely afternoon beverages and a snack. Really enjoyed the ambiance and selection of drinks. Only the the flatbread (which is far more doughy than true flat bread).
Enjoyed an afternoon drink and charterie while we enjoyed the view. Wonderful service in a beautiful environment
