Terrace - Queen Creek

The parking lot was bustling, but since the restaurant is located on a golf course, we figured most of the cars belonged to golfers, and thankfully, they did. When we asked the gentleman at the reception about how long it would take to be seated, he said it could be about an hour, but suggested we check with the bartender for a more accurate estimate. The bartender was absolutely fantastic—such a gem! Although we didn’t catch her name, her warm and welcoming personality made us feel right at home. She assured us that an hour was definitely doable and explained how to place our order. She mentioned that we were free to sit anywhere, and she would take care of bringing out the food since she was the only one there aside from the person in the kitchen. I ordered the brisket sandwich, while my fiancée opted for a double-double burger. Let me tell you, that brisket sandwich was the largest I’ve ever seen! The meat was fresh, tender, and cooked to BBQ perfection. It was generously smothered in a delicious sauce that was also fantastic on the fries. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare—juicy and fresh, topped with the crispest lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a savory slice of cheese. The fries that came with both dishes were crispy yet fluffy, cooked just right! To top it all off, we even received complimentary soda refills in to-go cups on our way out. The best part? Even though we were on a tight schedule, we were back in our car in just 25 minutes from start to finish. We live an hour away, but this incredible experience has already got me itching to return, and we just dined there today! I can't recommend this place enough—15/10! It's a must for lunch, dinner, or even just to enjoy a few rounds (the golf course is beautiful too)!

The restaurant terrace is located within the Johnson Ranch community but is accessible to everyone. We visited for lunch in the late afternoon. The menu is straightforward yet offers a good variety, and they have a well-stocked bar. They also host various community events and happy hours. Our server, Daniel, was very friendly and attentive.

Great little restaurant! I apparently missed out on ordering the beef, which the locals highly recommend. I'll definitely try it next time.
