Great place to eat fresh fish, we went there twice during our visit to Azores

Don’t be thrown off by the exterior and location. The interior is typical European and the interior establishment is clean. The food was great. The white wine was well chilled and went down great with the fried fish that came out in a large plate made for two but would feed three to four. Served on the side was sweet yams, Portuguese yams and white potatoes. We will absolutely be returning. Our waitress spoke perfect english and helped out with the exact fish we wanted. A must go to if you are a seafood lover. One again don’t be discouraged with the exterior and location. Price wise we had an $18 bottle of wine though there’s plenty of less expensive wines. We recommend the limpet appetizer. We also had espressos. The bill was $72 euros.

Our favorite dining experience of a week long trip to Sao Miguel. The freshest fish cooked and seasoned to perfection! Excellent service and clear passion and dedication by the chef/owner. Highly recommended!

A melhor forma de terminar as miniférias! Foi uma agradável surpresa! Muita variedade de peixe fresco e muito bem confecionado. É notável a paixão pelo mar em cada prato que pedimos. As lapas e o queijo local...maravilhoso! Voltarei!

Magnífico restaurante. Aqui o peixe é rei. Confeção simples com produtos de excelente qualidade. A relação qualidade preço é a melhor que conheço. Peixe com qualidade e confeção semelhante em Peniche, custa o dobro. O local é sóbrio, com aspeto bastante modesto e o bairro onde está situado não ajuda. Daí que a surpresa ainda é mais agradável.
