Taqueria El Rey - Raeford

The food at this restaurant is amazing. My husband, Chad Jacobs, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to the staff for a great meal. The chicken enchiladas my husband had were fantastic, and I tried the nacho trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp topped with white cheese, onions, green peppers, banana peppers, and red peppers. It was delicious.

Best Mexican food I have found around. Authentic and not chain food. It is dine in or carry out. Great prices. My go to spot for Hispanic food.

Absolutely loved it. A small family owned business, very inviting and friendly. Don 't go in and expect the food on the table in 5 minutes. Everything is prepared fresh. According to my wife, that was the best guacamole she has ever had...creamy with just the right amount of cilantro, not loaded with garlic and onions as some places do. I had the chicken gorditos and they certainly were not taco bell ones and did not even resemble them. Our daughter had soft shell chicken tacos and my wife had a shrimp quesadilla. 2 baskets of chips for our guacamole along with queso cheese. The horchota was excellent. Absolutely would recommend and will be returning.

You're literally in the middle of nowhere in this part of the state, so finding anything that's not a gas station subway is a win. The food was pretty good, we had street tacos. The guy running the places wasn't the friendliest, and the kid waiting on us wasn't the sharpest, but we were well fed for a good price. Would go back.

We got food from here and the shrimp was burnt and the fajitas had more onions then meat. Meat was cut super thin to the point we didn't know what we were eating. Also called ahead and still waited 30 min. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
