El Tapatio Family Mexican - Rainier

We stopped at El Tapatio Rainier to grab a bite after a day of kayaking, and our waiter, Jose Luis, was outstanding. We had a fantastic time, and the food was delicious. We ordered chicken taquitos, which were absolutely yummy!

The band took a long time to finish, which meant we didn't get to sing much karaoke. The man with the gray ponytail sat on his phone for about 30 minutes before they finally started performing. However, the karaoke was fantastic, and the karaoke host was excellent. We will probably choose a different place next time.

The service was prompt and friendly, and the view from the terrace was lovely. We ordered two drinks and two entrees for about $45, which is more affordable than the low-quality Mexican food in Longview. Overall, we felt safe and satisfied with our experience.

We go here especially for the extraordinary margaritas and the karaoke. eating is good and with beautiful portions, but if they are sitting in the bar (which they must do for karaoke) the service is slow. However, the service is not slow for drinks, depending on what is more important for them for a night, eating could not be important. what's really nice here is the nice one sitting outside. they have a great view of the bridge and the river. sometimes they had covered the opposite. maybe about the pandemic?

Best patio dining with a view! Great Mexican cuisine and service! All the staff is friendly and attentive! Jose Luis was outstanding! We stop everytime we're in town.
