Oak City Fish And Chips - Raleigh

This was my first time coming to Oak City Fish and Chips. T helped my sister and I choose some things he thought we might like and he did NOT disappoint. We split the large fish and shrimp combo and lobster tail. When you go to Oak City, make sure T helps you!

This was my first time ever at the Morgan Street Food Hall, and baby I am HOOKED on Oak City Fish and Chips. First and foremost it's a black owned business whose staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Secondly, the prices are extremely reasonable and the fish portions (which is whiting..my favorite) are HUGE. Lastly, the seasoning is unlike any other. I ordered the fish basket (which comes w/fries) and a side order of brown sugar hush puppies and by the end of my meal I was literally licking all 5 of my fingers. Whatever seasoning is being used is definitely custom made because the FOOD??WAS??FULL??OF??FLAVOR I definitely recommend this place and give it a 15 out of 10.

This was my first time at Morgan Street Food Hall. So much to choose from. I was extremely happy about my food choice. I live over an hour and a half away and it is worth the drive. I will definitely be back.

So very worth the wait! They were the busiest spot in the hall, but Kevin and the crew were on point with their customer service and the food was fantastic!! !Don’t sleep on this spot, and don’t waste your time at any other stand, you won’t get fried fish like this unless your grandma is making it for you.
