It’s relatively small which makes it the perfect intimate date spot. The menu changes, but the crab cakes and sliders are always a favorite (seriously, get the crab cakes!! I always finish my meal with their coffee martini.
Food was amazing. Staff is awesome! Just a all around great establishment. Came with me my fiancée and friends. Made us feel right at home. Definitely will be a spot we frequent.
Taste... I can dig it! From the front you don't know what you're always in... but as soon as you open the door its like a fantastic surprise... somehow cool like secret bookshelf door go into a secret room cool... You go to a warm, trendy cozy restaurant with open kitchen concept and long bar. The front seating area of the dark tinted windows is... Behind the half wall are the high tables and bar seats... I definitely like the top seating area. Samantha took care of the table and she was good .. nice and friendly and gave excellent suggestions on the menu elements and even wise on hey surprised me with a dessert of your picking and Samantha good lol Definitive come early to hit the dinner rush that started tonight at 6pm (sat night Definitely try to take everything on the menu .. Top part of the menu is bigger item on tapas style The sea-red pistachios encrusted Ahi Tuna was delicious.. its thinly cut tuna on a bed of Arugula and with pistachios with a turbidity of Wasabi aioli and a small cup of soy for diving... Definitely immerse in the soya easily and as drag the piece Ahi along with Arugula into the Wasabi aioli and enjoy ... it was amazing . Next, the bruschetta was with feta .. definitely delicious and wish, there were a few more slices of baguette also another amazing dish. Tuna truffle was another tasty dish... it was a piece of tuna on a bed of pickle radishes, roasted torots, dressed with a truffle garlic ponzu and with masag garlic. Court was excellent, but could have used that extra ummmphhh The crab cakes were delicious, but from the DC area and spend my weekends on the Eastern Shores of MD ... they were skeptical ... they definitely arent your typical MD basketcake .. they were different. it was a mixture of crabs, cubed paprika and another veggie in there... it warns what I was used for a crab cake, but it was not bad .. it was pan roasted and served on a bed of saccotash. The chicken pillow thai was also different and not what I used, but it was not bad .. it was very saucy and more on the sweet side ... I get used to more the dryer peanut pad thai, but that was not bad... definitely after extra sambal for extra spice To finish the night... Samatha brought the brewing cheesecake... it was amazing... couldn't determine what the crust was made... definitely ask what it is next time I'm there... warns your typical gram of crust.. it had almost a almond flour short bread crust or something similar.. The overall taste is a hidden jewel in Raleigh definitely back!
That was your mother! Creative food, great service, beautiful atmosphere. Lighting could be a bit better (I like to see my food), but really that was the only drawback. Highlight the Allgender Bathroom!!
Arrived today and tried breakfast Burrito. It was delicious! Caroline Caitlin's service was fantastic. They certainly followed Kovid guidelines and made us feel comfortable. We'll be back soon!
