Big portion but fish taste isn 't for me. I grew up in Hawaii and always got foodland poke. My term of poke is always only FISH AND RICE. They got that down but there 's so much flavorings they add. I 'm not a poke expert but from my knowledge, poke is cut in cubes not shredded. The poke looked like cat food on rice when I looked at it. Taste: 6.5/10 it had more sauce on shredded fish, tasted the sauce more than the fishPresentation: 5/10 looked like cat food on rice. : I ordered the California and spicy. Overall, not bad. The service is really kind and friendly but the poke isn 't for me. : '
Priced well, convenient and the couple are nice. But why is there a filler with the crispy onion?! When I question it, I got the side eye. I simply want onion, not onion with tempura flakes that look like rice crispies.
All around excellent. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, service is always happy and friendly, atmosphere is also nice if you dine in but I usually take home and eat. My wife and I love coming here!
At this point, you might as well call me the queen of poke. If you look at my reviews, I have reviewed most poke spots in the South Bay area. What I like about this place is the variety of toppings you can request on your poke. I usually get the medium poke, which is 3 proteins. I get tuna, salmon, and spicy tuna. I get base white rice. For my veggie toppings, I get corn, cucumbers, ginger and carrots. For my sides, I get crab meat and seaweed salad. It is super good. There is a good amount of seating inside. Sometimes I prefer to sit outside on the open benches scattered around the plaza. The staff is always friendly and they're not stingy with the protein. This is another good poke place I would come to if I am in the area. I would definitely come back!
