Catalina Kitchen - Rancho Palos Verdes

The food was okay. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. Together with the ribs sandwich and lava cake. The garlic bread with the garlic butter was delicious!

Good service in very nice resort. Food quality and flavor was not quite up to expectations relative to location and price. It wasn't bad but wasn't great and certainly wasn't worth $35 for less than a cereal bowl's worth of food. Not a chef focused restaurant where one pays for the chef's imagination. I've had those and had very good experiences where you pay high prices for that type of experience. This Cafe is just an upscale hotel restaurant, a couple of notches above a diner, but with a captive clientele.

Great place to get away for a bite too eat. Waitress was very kind. Our food was a little late so she took off my food on the bill ?. Other then that place was amazing very scenic.

Good vibes. People working there is courteous. My husband love this soup. Assort cheese were matched with wine we drink. I 'd like to have more kind of cheeses instead of muffins. Cheeses are just 2 kinds. I heard this menu 'assort cheese ' has just come back 2 days ago, and actually it was not on the menu board at that time. Brulee they gave us as our anniversary is very good. We 'd never expected such a sweet surprise, made our anniversary more sweeter and nicer. Salad and pizza were good but not more than my expectation. Totally we enjoyed our dinner a lot especially by the vibe and nice staff.

While on staycation here, we had lunch at Catalina. With the restaurant located next to the pool, it has a very nice outdoor dining environment. The lunch menu included some great food options. For a quick lunch, the restaurant offers burger, wraps and salads. I ordered an Angus burger while my wife got herself a Chicken wrap. You can get garlic fries to go with the dishes. The burger is very good with great tasty sauce. The fries were not that good as they were soggy. Chicken wrap was fantastic and healthy. I heard from the front desk when I checked in that the Catalina also serve very good breakfast. We Will try their Breakfast in the morning.
