Írjon visszajelzéstVery disappointed in how slow and disorganized the service was. It was friendly but we did the Sunday brunch buffet and probably waited like 10 minutes for silverware and like 15 minutes for our drinks. Servers were all friendly and it seemed like there were plenty but seemed very disorganized. Only one guy doing the carving and omelet line. Slow again and the prime rib was well short of even rare in the middle. It tasted good around the edges though. The food overall was very good and again everyone was friendly. Maybe only cleared our plates 1-2 times as well. If I had to choose a Sunday brunch buffet in the area I am going to M&C's although the food here is overall better (despite the raw center of the prime rib).
Only had time for a quick cocktail at the bar yet others tell me they have a marvelous brunch!Service: 5/5
Excellent drinks and an attentive staff. We were here for a golf tournament and they handled the large crowd with ease. The patio is wonderful and overlooks the beautiful course. Overall a 10/10 experienceFood: 5/5
UPDATE: I have raised to 4 stars because the service has slowly improved over the last few months. Thank you for taking note of customer input and acting on it. As of now 11Aug22, solid service, good food. Taco Tuesday is great. I will continue my regular visits and hope to give 5 stars soon.Old: The last several times we have been to TJ's we have had no service. We are coming off the course hot and thirsty, we seat ourselves and no one comes by for 15-20 mins. No water, no welcome, nothing. If you can get served the food is solid. We have enjoyed breakfast here before and it was really good. When its 90 degrees and golfers are coming off a round on the course, offer them some water would ya? I HATE giving low reviews, but until this situation is fixed it will stay this way.Edit: The director of food and drink responded almost immediately so I raised my review by a star (From 2 to 3). I will go back sometime in the next couple weeks (Anonymously of course), if the problems have been resolved, I will edit this review further.
I had lunch at TJ 's Tap Table (formerly TJ 's Cantina Yelp doesn 't seem to care about changing the name) located inside the clubhouse at Tijeras Creek Golf Club. It 's open to the public and has indoor seating (about a dozen tables with big screen TVs all around) as well as a large patio with a nice view of the golf course. There is a swanky bar area inside and they offer a pleasing selection of beers. Although most of the outdoor tables are shaded there were only a couple unshaded ones available so I seated myself inside. My waiter, who consistently referred to me as boss , took my order within a couple minutes. The lunch menu is small, mostly burgers, sandwiches, and salads. I went with a pulled pork sandwich and iced tea. Once my food was delivered I realized I had no napkin or utensils. I flagged down the food runner, asking for a napkin and expecting some utensils rolled within it. A cloth napkin was quickly dropped off with no utensils. Well, I guess I got exactly what I asked for. She dashed off before I could be more specific so my fingers worked just fine to pick up the spilled pieces of pulled pork from my plate. The pulled pork sandwich had a nicely toasted brioche bun and some delicious slaw on top of the tender pork which had a satisfying smokey flavor. There was a razor thin spread of what I think was bbq sauce on the top half of the bun but so minimal I couldn 't even tell if it was a sweet or tangy sauce. The accompanying fries were mercilessly oversalted. They either don 't do refills of iced tea here or they just never bothered to offer. The overpriced menu, subpar food, and lacadaisical service would prevent me from returning for anything more than a beer.
