Paul Bunyan - Rathdrum

The food at this restaurant is good enough for the price. The service is average, and the atmosphere is decent. I recommend trying the Cheese Burger, Double Cheese Burger, Fries, and Bacon Cheese. Overall, it's a great place to have a reasonably priced lunch.

We ordered two pizza's on our way home from Priest River, a medium pepperoni and a large combo. We were told it would be about 35-40min. We arrived after about 35 min and was told our pepperoni pizza was done and the other would be about 5 min. 35 minutes later the young lady said that the oven had cooked a hole in the center of the large pizza and it would be another 40 min (we had been waiting over an hour at this point) before our large was done. My wife just asked for a refund for the larger, we were given a handful of 5$ coupons instead despite the fact we paid in cash. We don't live in Rathdrum so the coupons were useless. Also by that time the other pizza was cold and we found that the crust was burnt to a crisp as was the cheese on the pizza and it was horribly greasy. Worst Pizza experience ever.

Greasy burger joint reminiscent of old times. My only real complaint is no information on their menu. They have names for burgers, but no explanation of what they are. You can ask the teen working the counter, and hopefully they either know or care to answer with some modicum of respect. Best just to wing it and hope for the best. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
