Penny's Pit Gourmet Burgers (rathdrum)

Excellent experience even during a very busy lunch rush. Ordered lunch for the entire crew at our store and was greeted with amazing service from Shawna. She handled the lunch rush well and got us our food on time. Cooks in the back did an amazing job on the food. Have been there a few times and they always knock it out of the park. Keep up the great work and will be back. Thank you again for the outstanding experience.

My daughter and I had the double bacon cheeseburgers and they were delicious. Really good charbroiled flavor and juicy. I paid the upcharge for onion rings and they were good. Really wanted coffee but they only serve soda and beer. Really limited seating at very small tables.

I am impressed by the burgers and fries at this place. The simplicity of the flavors are so enticing that I’d willingly make the drive from Coeur d’Alene just to indulge in one of their burgers again. In my opinion, they offer one of the best burgers you can find in the area. The combination of juicy, perfectly cooked patties with just the right amount of toppings and the crispy, golden fries on the side makes for an unforgettable meal. Although I’m on a quest to discover the ultimate burger in town, Penny’s Pit currently holds the top spot on my list. Their consistency and quality have set a high bar that few others have met.”

Pennys pit is one of those, hole in a wall places with amazing burgers. It’s a small, cozy diner type feel with an old school celebrity theme. One of the burgers is even named after James Dean. They offer beer and non alcoholic beverages. I would highly suggest visiting for lunch or dinner
