Aspen House - Rawlins

I wanted to share my dinner with my daughter because we were not so hungry. I obeyed the rules? And not ordered from the children's menu. I was told it would cost me eight dollars to share my meal with her! If you shared your meal with someone? Don't tell them to share the meal. They'll call you for it. To the table. I also paid eight dollars for the chicken in the picture. I think it was only frozen chicken. It looked disgusting. And we couldn't eat it.

Nice spot in Rawlins, WY. To start, I had the Thai Shrimp. It was tasty! However, it is spicy, but I love spicy! My entree was the Lobster Ravioli. That was delicious! There was a ton of cheese on it, but it still was delicious! For dessert, I had the triple chocolate cake, and that was a nice wrap up of my dinner. A definite must if you are passing through Rawlins. Highly recommend!

Ordered a steak ?! The menu didn't give details of the size of the steaks but I was pleasantly surprised! It was a little tough though. I had never had a steak with BBQ sauce on it before. It did have good flavor, but still not sure I liked that or not. Was definitely spendy though, I spent over $50 for just myself, on dinner and a soft drink.

One of the best ribeyes ever. As a native Nebraskan, we know our beef! The pasta was also amazing and the sauces were made from scratch! Service was outstanding. Dillon did a fantastic job!! A wonderful restaurant!

My husband and I stumbled on this place by accident three years ago and remembered it to be a great dining experience. So on a recent road trip we made a point of planning our route so that we could stop again to see if it was as good as we remembered. It was. It is the best steak either of us has ever had. (And trust me we've looked! But it isn't just the food that makes this a great dining experience. The atmosphere of the small dining rooms with great art and great background music, fantastic service and a nice collection of wines and spirits make this a very enjoyable evening. We will always go out of our way any time possible to enjoy a meal here.
