Írjon visszajelzéstWe have always liked the food here, but unfortunately our most recent visit here was beyond disappointing. We received one appetizer after an hour wait, then almost another hour waiting for food. We took our food to go, almost was tempted to cancel the order and leave without anything. Won't be coming back for a while, very sad.
Always a fun place to hit up with the boys. I wouldn 't say this is a chill spot, per se. It turns into a madhouse starting around happy hour. It 's kind of one of those places where you walk in and it 's impossible to tell immediately what you 're supposed to do. Do I seat myself? Is there a host? Do I order at the counter? Anyone with anxiety who has never been there before may immediately want to turn around and get the hell out of there. Since you do seat yourself here, your best bet is to kind of scan the room and hopefully spot an open table. Once you 've secured a piece of valuable real estate, it 's smooth sailing from there. A server will inevitably find you (tables are close to each other so a server will eventually walk in your vicinity), and get you started with one of their signature dishes. From my experience, the fan favorites are the wings, flatbread pizzas, and popcorn. Yes, they have what I can only describe as artisanal popcorn, coming in such variations as Parmesan Truffle, White Cheddar Bacon, and the timeless Salted Caramel. At Schaylor, wings are oven baked, which certainly is a method. I 'm a fried wings guy at heart, since the crispness of the skin is just on another level, but I can appreciate a good baked wing. As for the sauces, wow, just so on point. They really go for a nice blend of hot sweet, with flavors like Kickin ' Bourbon, Mango Habanero, Thai Chili, and Honey Sriracha. For the masochists, you can go for traditional hot wings, and even a tier higher with Molten Lava. There 's no sweetness here, just pure white hot capsaicin. The sauce is red like a pepper, but trust me when I say it tastes like literal fire. Popcorn is usually on 75% of tables. These sweet little corn clusters are suitable for any group makeup a couple on a date, family with kids, coworkers at happy hour perhaps the better question to ask yourself is, When is popcorn NOT a good fit? It 's the appetizer that doesn 't eat like an appetizer. If you 're one of those people who sees Crab Dip and thinks, Nah, too heavy, popcorn is the perfect alternative. And yes, the pizza. Well, what can I say? They come out as big, slabs of melty goodness. Tons of variety here, anything from three cheese vegetarian to meat lovers with pepperoni, bacon, and ham. A lot of pigs died for this. There is also a crab pizza with red onion, cherry tomatoes, garlic aioli, and Old Bay that, as a frequenter of Maryland and self proclaimed crab cake enthusiast, I desperately need to try. At night, it becomes more beer oriented. You 'll still see people indulging in popcorn until close, but the action shifts from the outer tables near the front of the building to the back room. This is where space opens up, people have more room to float around and schmooze. In the back you 'll also find a pool table (and the bathrooms, too). One area I haven 't personally experienced is the WAY back, aka outside. There 's a nice patio setup out there with cornhole and other fun things to do. I think I saw some pictures of an inflatable bouncy castle. So yeah, always a good time here, especially in the warmer months. Spacious parking lot, but even that will fill up at peak hours. I don 't know what you 'd do in that situation since there 's no street parking. Park in an adjacent lot maybe? Hey, the Excitement Adult Superstore is right next door. Just be warned, a visit there could totally change the direction of the evening.
Great beer! I tried a Pilsner, Irish Ale and some other third one. I had a flat bread pizza which was great! I spoke with one of the bartender/brewmaster who was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!
Food was good Beer wasn't had bartender pour away the wheat beer Gaelic red terrible aftertaste pilsner was decent No need to return
This is my first yelp review. That's how bad our experience was. Arrived on a Friday night at 6:15 for outside seating. We were told the wait would be 30 mins. We were seated at 7:25. We ordered drinks and food 10 minutes later. Our drinks came in phases at 8:05. After all the drinks came, we were then told the kitchen was behind. We got our food at 9 pm. Beer were comped, which was kind, but only 2/4 people ordered beer. Really disappointed the staff weren't more up front about the wait time so we could have gone elsewhere.
