The Berkshire Family - Reading

One of my weekly go-to's, depending upon my work schedule or itinerary. Clean dining room and counter, and well equipped and stocked restroom. Closed Mondays. The portions are generous, namely the meat sides at breakfast. Definitely splittable, the cornbeef hash is one of the best I've ever had. They make it with the requisite potatoes along with finely chopped peppers and onions. Convenient location but do be careful pulling out of the parking lot, as traffic is fast. It was ok but just that we asked for dinner rolls and each one was in a plastic sealed wrapper ice cold and hard. Never received a roll like that ever! Prices reasonable enough. Service very slow. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
