Hwy Cafe - Reardan

I stopped by for dinner after not visiting this place for years. It used to be a fantastic restaurant, but now only the attached bar carries its name. In the past, it was famous for its roasted chicken steak, but now it’s primarily known for other dishes. I ordered the Hamburger Steak, while my wife opted for halibut. Both meals came with a baked potato, and we also had the option of choosing soup or salad—I went for both. The salad was a wonderful mix of dark greens, and the chili soup was hearty and satisfying. The baked potato was enormous, practically a meal on its own, and I even took some home with me. My Hamburger Steak was incredible; it featured hand-cut beef with large mushrooms, which was a pleasant surprise. You definitely need to try this place; it’s worth the trip!
