Írjon visszajelzéstIt was extremely crowded. The area for tents was shared with a lake beach, and it was so crowded with people sunbathing that we could not set our tent and had to search for a hidden corner. We basically did paid wild camping in an unprepared zone. The pipes of at least 2 basins for washing dishes had leakage and you wet your feet, in one of the buildings for showers there where no pipes for draining the water (by design, they call them eco-showers . Very friendly staff in the reception, that was great. And amazing playgrounds for kids. It was a relatively expensive camping. Conclusion; Poor value for money when traveling with a tent. Ok when traveling with children.
Camp Menina is next to Savinja. It is a place where you can find everything. Games for children, many options for refreshments. You rent a SUP and you already ride on the lake, which is in the middle of the camp. There is also a path from the lake to the river and rapids. But the water is cold... Spent almost two weeks here with family. All in all highly recommended. Nicely centrally located between the many beautiful trips in Central Slovenia. There is a lot to do at the campsite for all ages. The campsite has its own climbing park with three courses. In addition, rafting, canyoning, rock climbing and much more are organized daily. Everything under the excellent guidance of passionate instructors. There is a great restaurant and a nice coffee bar on the campsite. A lot is organized for all youth (also for teenagers). There is also a (clean) swimming lake. The camping pitches are very different, also in terms of size. The central places are close to all activities and not really quiet. You can also choose the quieter places and there you will only hear the sound of the river. Then you are further away from all facilities. The disadvantage of the newest field where we were (Hom) is that there is no toilet building yet. Will come. What is certainly worth mentioning is the helpful staff. Everyone goes out of their way for you. Owner is a very nice and committed guy who does everything to make you feel comfortable. In short, recommended! Lovely setting great for family but completely spoilt by allowing booming music to play out until past midnight on Fri night until 0235 Saturday night. We read a few negative reviews prior to going so called we were told it was not busy we could be given a quiet spot. On arrival given a quiet spot! Not the reality- the music was coming from all the way on the other side of the campsite but was still very loud. Hardly relaxing or conducive to unwinding on a weekend away. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. No apology or action at all when mentioned on check out. Plus no hand soap in the hand washing area in the toilets!
