This scenic restaurant was something of a hidden treasure in Red Deer for some legitimately excellent Mediterranean foods. I've eaten here for several years and realized that I've never written any thanks for the service. In mid-April 2020, I had a top three-horse shawarm wrap and still think about it. The meat was delicate, the pita perfectly grilled, and the mixture of vegetables (delicious pickling) really made this lunch out. I think the owner is a very generous individual. He really takes care of his customers and he definitely takes care of his food. During this Corona Virentage, if you are looking for something that does not come from a big fast food chain, I ask you to check the lava grill. It is one of the best and most consistent places to eat by Red Deer. I highly recommend it.

We tried the lava grill for lunch and it was great, excellent service food (you order at the till) we found the chicken slaughter was huge and will share one with the Greek side salad when we come back we will return! Everything... is freshly made to order for you, type of subway style.

Outstanding food and service! The Best Shawarma in town! Favorite lunch spot! Always fresh and handmade food. The pickled turnips are soooo good and made by the owner himself. You gotta try them. Try the Lava Grill, you'll be hooked!
