Írjon visszajelzéstI had a lovely one-night stay at the Inn. I initially made a mistake with my booking, but Patti was incredibly accommodating. The house is beautiful, charming, and peaceful. We had a great night's sleep and appreciated having the kitchen in our room for some basic needs. I highly recommend it on all counts!
This place is absolutely delightful and surpassed all my expectations. The historic building is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are tastefully furnished. The breakfast was delicious, with a hint of D.C. flavor. The kitchen in our suite was a great asset, allowing me to prepare a charcuterie board, mix drinks, and keep our leftovers fresh. We visited over Valentine's Day weekend and took the opportunity to explore the charming nearby towns of Rhinebeck and Tivoli. Patti, the innkeeper, was incredibly friendly. We will definitely be returning!
Patti, the host, is incredibly accommodating. This inn holds a special place in my heart, as I've been visiting the Hudson River Valley my entire life. The breakfast could use some enhancements—perhaps including smoked salmon or a dish featuring squash or buckwheat with chicken and arugula (just a suggestion from a baby boomer who prefers a low-carb diet). After all, eggs only provide 6 grams of protein, which isn't quite enough. Just my two cents!
My husband and I had to stay in New York last minute. We go to local places to stay near Copake. When the owner talked to us, she was like our long lost aunt we haven't seen or talked to for years. She was so beautiful, to the earth, warm, welcoming, informative, careful and all that one could hope in a person. My husband and I felt confident in our decision to stay overnight, especially after talking to her. We drove the 5 1/2 hours and arrived at midnight. When he arrived, the inn was so beautiful. From the cozy interior to the well-kept and clean room with the incredibly soft bed and bedding to the amazing shower head and print we were so in love with this place! We wanted us to arrive earlier to enjoy it longer. In the morning there was fresh bread, hot coffee and home kitchen to help yourself. If we ever need another place in this part of New York, there is no question, there will be this place. We are happy to have stumbled about it and have had such a great conversation with the owner. You will not regret your stay! It's literally a home away from home.
We recently rented the entire Inn for the weekend of our son's wedding, however it was our third time staying. The Innkeeper, Patty is welcoming and very personalble. Our family stay felt as if we had a second home.
