Taqueria Los Gordos - Redding

I recently moved from SoCal here, so I didn't go with the expectation that I would get something similar, but maybe some authentic Mexican food. It is slim pickings when it comes to authentic Mexican food, anyway when I got my food all was Bland, no taste, the salsa was not sharp. As a Mexican myself, I was disappointed with quality, but also with the service. It was terrible. Not friendly, super dry and short! The restaurant is dirty and old! I'm sorry, but I have to be honest, especially for my Latinos looking for some comfort and confidentiality.

I wasn't here forever, but the last time I left, I ordered a burrito and it was probably the biggest Burrito level ever seen. It was also delicious. Overall good food for a decent price.

Eating is okay if you can get help. Customer service suck. You go to bed to order why the 4 lady who works there ignore you. Then when they finally acknowledged me that they were asking you were helped? I'm not answering yet, then I'm saying we're gonna, if you don't talk, I don't know what you hear. How really the 4 of you watched me go to the register and stand in the last 5 minutes. How about a hallo welcome in or even just stop the gossip and help your customers. This is not the first time I felt that they treated me very rudely. Definitely will not return to the pine road.

Better take a flyswatter if you plan on eating inside! Horrible fly problem. Other than that food was okay, rice and beans needed some flavor, taquitos we're good, lots of guacamole and sour creme, had several types of salsas. Nice ladies at counter, but all the time we were there they just talked, no cleaning done and trust me it needed the tables wiped, floors swept and some good old fashioned elbow grease on the windows, doors and chairs. Plywood table top we had was cracked at edge and peeling back. Raw wood in a restaurant not only unsafe but unsanitary.....
