Farine Bakery Cafe - Redmond

Farine is always delicous. From the coffee to the pastries to the sandwiches, its all top notch quality and flavor. If you come on a weekend, seating will be hard to find, as its very popular spot for breakfast. You can always get it to go though! It can be a bit weird standing around feeling in the way during peak busy times but everyone is friendly and glad to be there. Because again, the food is absolutely top quality and flavor. Parking can also be difficult, but I 've always managed to find a spot within a block.

The food is great. What really confuses me is the expectation to tip while not providing service. We ordered “for here”, payed, tipped at the register and sat on outside veranda. 15 minutes later after not receiving our beverages I step inside to ask in case they forgot about us. Turned out our coffees were sitting all this time at the counter, already cold. Like guys, I don’t mind self service, but if so, do not offer that screen to me at the register to “answer the question” please.

Love the decent display of the breakfast, I have tried Egg Benedict on croissants all the time, today we tried other dishes and Lavender London Fog, love them all.

Finding street parking can be iffy, but there is a garage nearby. Check your Google to see what the load factor is if you are concerned about lines or crowds. Enter and stare down a bevy of beautiful caloric angels waiting for you in the refrigerated case. Order one or try a breakfast thing like we did. Loved the eggs benedict! They have specialty lattes and regular coffee, seating indoors and out. Once you order they'll give you a number on a metal stand and after you wait for and grab your beverages, they'll bring your food order to the table. After you finish, convenient self-bussing stations are here and there so you can slide your used dishes off the table and make way for the next peeps. Atmosphere? French bistro in black chairs and white marble topped tables. Liked it, but if they added some plants it would be better. So much black and white seems almost funereal to me. But hey. That's me. Others love to modern take and unfussy vibes. Yes, we'd return in a heartbeat. Good service, nice food we want to eat, and again, those beautiful sweets up front. Delectable!

One of the dishes was spilling, we were missing some items (including a few for which we had paid extra), and the overall quality of the food was just average.
