Írjon visszajelzéstThe food was amazing! The fried shrimp were packed with flavor, the clam chowder bowl was substantial and tasty, and the onion rings were cooked to perfection! While some reviews noted that the service could be slow, we found the service to be excellent and our food arrived promptly. We went on a busy Saturday night, but only had to wait about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a wonderful place to eat and enjoy! And make sure to grab a delicious churro across the street while you’re there!
Although the restaurant has a more casual atmosphere, the food is outstanding. It's an ideal place for people-watching, and you can also enjoy the live music from nearby. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp plate, which was superbly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and came in generous portions. It was accompanied by some tasty garlic bread, and the large beer I got was the biggest I've ever seen—literally filled to the brim! (I had already taken a sip before capturing the photo.) I left feeling extremely satisfied!
It can get a bit crowded, and you might need to wait some time for your food, but it's definitely worth the wait.
I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday during lunch, and it wasn't too crowded yet. I ordered the Portside Cajun boil and a fish plate. Unfortunately, the seafood boil was excessively salty and greasy, lacking any Cajun flavor, and the sausage was overcooked. While the portion size was decent, the fish tasted just like any typical frozen fish stick, and the coleslaw was unappetizing and bland. As for the service, the woman with the crew cut was rude from the beginning, and her attitude matched the unpleasantness of the food.
The food was average in flavor and variety. The open seating allows you to enjoy the beach pier atmosphere, which is pleasant. However, the service left much to be desired, as they missed our order and the staff seemed snippy without offering an apology.
